For certain products, suitability is highly variable based on a number of factors and can regularly change, including the price of the solution, so we’ll research the entire market to identify the best one at that time.
There are a number of core products, or tax wrappers, within the market where there are limited differences between the products available from different providers (such as Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs) or SIPP tax wrappers).
When it comes to these types of product we believe the best value for clients is in creating a panel of quality suppliers and then negotiating the best prices with them. We would then compare those solutions to what our clients currently hold, and either retain current solutions or deploy new ones from our panel as appropriate.
We have strong relationships and advise on solutions from many industry providers including Aegon, Novia, James Hay, Raymond James, Alliance Trust, Old Mutual and Fidelity. Where appropriate, we’ll select the best option for you from this list. Our panel is kept under regular review. This is defined as ‘restricted advice’ by the Financial Conduct Authority.
